Sketching - (18/04/19)

We have been away on holiday this week at a lovely place called Pagham in West Sussex. There have been lots of fun activities and nature walks to do, as well as the beach just a few minutes walk away. I have had limited opportunity to sit and draw or paint but I did manage to do some sketches this afternoon while the family went for a swim. I was inspired by the patterns on the nets and curtains in the caravan and enjoyed trying to draw the shadow being cast from the nets onto the table as they blew gently in the wind; it was another lovely sunny day so I had the windows open behind me creating a cool breeze. I also took lots of photos at the beach and on our walks so there will be plenty for me to work from once we get home and I hope that these sketches and photos find their way into future artworks later on in the project.
