Painting #7 - Finished - (07/06/19)

This is a canvas from last year. I was visiting my old art group and they allowed me to join in for the session. I took inspiration from one of the art books at the Learning Centre and sketched out a design. The abstract image that inspired me had caught my eye because I could make out a figure 8 in it and this number has a special significance to me. Once drawn, this canvas got put away and I never returned to it...until now! So today I used Sharpie pen to mark out the lines that I wanted to stand out. I then used a design from another project idea that I started a few weeks ago to mark out some sections which I could then paint (I did this by tracing from one design to the other). Unfortunately I got so carried away with the painting that I didn't remember to take many progress pictures. This is a shame but at least I have another painting finished and I'm very happy with it. It is acrylic and watercolour on canvas with black and white ink.
