P.E failed to happen. On Day 2! Oh dear...E had to be online again for her lessons and F managed another worksheet. The highlight today was a walk to the beach and a quick kick about with a football. It was gloriously sunny and warm. Perfect!
Sadly we have been told tonight that the Park is closing completely and that Owners have no rights to access their own Caravans. This is devastating, particularly as the Park still want their fees paid despite the fact that they are refusing us access! We have agreed to vacate in the morning. For me personally, I felt quite happy in the knowledge that the caravan was always going to be there as a back up; I could return here to escape for an hour or so if lockdown becomes too much and equally we could pop over as a family for the walks and nature...but this is obviously not meant to be.
We will be frantically packing up in the morning so I doubt that P.E will happen again! Oops!! This afternoon I have been working on #13. It's my Blue collage that I started cutting out pieces for on March 13th. In the time between then and now I did some papier mache-type work on the cardboard that I had chosen to use for this piece. Today I have been collaging onto this with the bits and pieces I set aside a week or so ago. I have really enjoyed it and the family seem to like it too!
On our walk today we only saw one other person...a lady walking her dog and Social Distancing was easy on the beach. It seems so ridiculous that we have to return to a town where the open spaces for walks will be much more heavily used by the public meaning we will be more exposed to others whilst this park and beach remain virtually unused. We will be sad to leave here tomorrow.
