Artwork #13 - Finished! - 26/03/20

I have been working hard on my blue collage since Tuesday and today I completed it. I have always loved my collage pieces, particularly trying to match paper pieces to existing gaps...my approach is very much like you might approach a jigsaw puzzle. I sometimes have to cut bits off and trim to make an exact fit but I get immense satisfaction when I find the perfect piece for the a certain spot in the picture.

I am calling #13 'Blue Skies Ahead' as that is the sort of optimism we need right now.

Today it has been announced that Prince Charles has tested positive for Coronavirus. He is self-isolating and only has minor symptoms. It made me shudder when I read this. I had visions of this wiping out the entire senior Royals! The Queen is almost 94 and Prince Phillip is 98! At 71, Charles is classed as vulnerable or at risk but let's just hope he hasn't unknowingly passed this onto any of the family.
