Painting #12 - 03/03/20

I set about starting the The Forty@40 Project again today. I used my daughter's self-made exam timetable as inspiration and created a watercolour painting on mixed media paper. I liked the colourful pattern that had been created by E simply by marking out blocks on squared paper with different colours denoting exam slots for different subjects. I am hoping to turn this into a mixed media piece by photocopying the original timetable and adding carefully selected bits, possibly using some educational text as well. This is something to figure out in the coming weeks. For now, I am happy with the start I have made today with the pink and purple colours.
