I really hope that increased awareness leads to better understanding of the BPD diagnosis. BPD sufferers think and act in certain ways as a result of their disorder and therefore, much of it is out of their control. That is a scary thing to come to terms with and heartbreaking at times so having reliable, supportive, and caring people around is essential for a BPD person's well being.
